As a Londoner, I love trying out the wares of local artists, especially when they revolve around glitter and magic! When I first met the lovely Kristal from SparkleChild, it was a dull Tuesday morning and she had glitter caked across her eyelids.  Casual.  She looked like the love child of a grown up Princess and a Glastonbury hangover.   I immediately followed her on Instagram.  And Etsy.  And then I bought up an array of sparkly hair clips.

Specialising in children's clothes and accessories, SparkleChild make fun stuff like wands, tiaras and tutus.  In fact, my dripping cloud clip was probably designed for a six year old!  Ah well, when in Rome!

Now they are branching out with an adult range of tutus and all manner of sexy spangle!

Kristal and her Sparkle team also make bespoke pieces.  I'm contemplating drawing a unicorn on a rainbow, skating on a florescent ribbon, and asking if it can be made into a fascinator.  The child within me has been unleashed!

All I'm saying here people, is FESTIVAL SEASON!  I'll be taking my sparkly wand down to Worthy Farm, where I will magic me a bearded, hippy lover.  And if that fails, well at least my lightning storm clips will be pretty apt in a field of rain.
